A guided meditation is a form of meditation wherein your mind is taken to a journey, a journey to place where you can relax, contemplate and reflect. In a guided meditation someone is going to read to you a script that is written especially for meditating. A CD can be used for a guided meditation or someone can read the script for you. The aim of guided meditation is for you to let go of any conscious thoughts and let your subconscious take over and follow what is being said. Guided meditation can certainly assist you relax and unwind and it can also help you sleep better at night and gain stress reduction.
